Eyelash extensions are great for all your holiday parties, weddings, weekend getaways or for simple everyday elegance. Extensions makes your natural beauty look effortless with little to no additional make up. Bellamor clients say they wear less makeup overall as a result of increased confidence. Your natural facial features will be complemented by your new lashes. Extensions extend the length and fullness of your natural lashes, opening your eyes and drawing attention to their shape, color and beauty.

What are eyelash extensions?
Lash extensions are semi-permanent synthetic, faux mink or cashmere fibers which are applied strand by strand to your natural lashes. The extensions are carefully applied one at a time using a semi-permanent glue. The results are more lush, dense lashes that lets you skip mascara. The final look is meant to enhance your natural lashes with more length, fullness, and lift. Whether that look is more dramatic or more natural is up to you, but generally, the more lashes applied, the more dramatic the effect.
How long does it take to get my lashes done?
At Bellamor Beauty Bar I wish to provide the best care and presentation for your lashes. I will take my time to present the best set possible. Expect the process to take 1-3 hours depending on your desired look and fullness of your natural lashes. Safety is my number one priority. The best part about getting lashed is you can use it as an excuse to lie down, relax, and take a forced break from your phone and daily routine.
How long does eyelash extensions last?
Because extensions are attached to the lash itself, they last as long as the natural growth cycle of your lashes, or about 6-8 weeks. If your natural lashes tend to grow quickly, you’ll have to go in sooner for a fill in. Fill ins are typically scheduled every 2-3 weeks from the original application of your full set appointment. The longevity of your lashes also depend on how well you care for your lashes. More information about lash care is located under the "Aftercare" tab
Will the application process hurt?
Eyelashes are safe when applied properly by a licensed technician. Typically, the lash tech uses gel pads and tape to keep your eyes shut during the treatment. After set up, the lash tech applies the extension onto your natural lash without touching the skin. Because each extension is delicately attached one by one to your natural lashes, you shouldn’t feel any discomfort at all. However, it is typical for a client's eyes to water even when they're closed due to the fumes of the lash glue.

Lash Shampoo
Lash shampoo is used at the beginning of every appointment. I will start by washing your lashes with a oil free shampoo to rid your lashes (natural or extensions) of any makup build up, dirt, dust, and dead skin cells that may remain.
Lash Primer
Primer is the next step. Primer will be applied to your natural lashes or extensions. This strips the lashes of any excess oils for a better bind or grip between your natural lash and the newly applied extension.
Lash Bonder
Bonder is the very last step after the application of your extensions. The bonder cures the lash glue and makes for quicker dry time. It also helps to eliminate the fumes coming from the glue and improves the retention making for longer lasting lashes (with proper aftercare maintenance).
